Modern slavery risk assessment tool pilot on Atamis - East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub

Modern slavery risk assessment tool pilot on Atamis

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), NHS England (NHSE) and NHS Supply Chain are making every effort to eradicate modern slavery in healthcare supply chains.

As you may be aware, NHSE and DHSC are currently working to draft new regulations and NHS guidance around modern slavery, with draft documents now published for consultation.

NHSE are piloting a risk assessment tool built into Atamis to support stakeholders in complying with modern slavery procurement policy and regulations. The tool, which is available to the Atamis Health Family, will provide a consistent assessment of modern slavery risk in and support commercial teams in meeting the requirements of PPN 02/23.

NHSE ask that stakeholders provide feedback on the risk assessment tool as well as the draft guidance and regulations during the consultation period, which is open until 13 February 2025.

We would also like to encourage our commercial colleagues to attend upcoming webinars on the assessment tool and draft guidance and regulations, both of which can be found on the NHSE event page.

If you have feedback on the risk assessment tool during the pilot phase, please email england.ccf-sustainability@nhs.net with your comments.
